Twenty Eight: Format

28 essays or short writings.
Non-fiction & Fiction.

No locations.

No names.

No years.

Listed 1, 2, 3, & so on.

Titled each with a 1 or 2 word theme.

The limitations listed allow me to maintain my own privacy, as well as others privacy, while also protecting the character & integrity of people, places, & time - all things warped by memory.

The limitations are a challenge, too, forcing me to be more conscious of who is being spoken about, how they’re being spoken about, & when they’re being spoken about.

The limitations, in both non-fiction or fiction format, give me a particular amount of freedom to write about things I normally wouldn’t or publish them publicly.

It’s my hope I can evoke emotion & write with relatability giving my own narrative strength but allowing the symbiotic point of view to have some personal substance for anyone reading.

Thank you, proactively, for choosing to engage with my words if you do so beyond this short piece.

Life is good, always.

Cheers.
